Working part of the EGK-50 extruder with pulleys was developed as a ready-made module for EGK series extruders, enabling quick replacement of worn elements or the construction of a complete station for grain extrusion. The design ensures high durability and a stable course of the technological process.

The working assembly includes all the basic elements responsible for the extrusion process, including the working body, screw, nut with forming die, locknut, bearing housing, pulleys, and a complete set of assembly elements. The device is also equipped with a feed hopper made of stainless steel with magnets capturing metal contaminants, which effectively protect the screw and the remaining working elements against damage.

The working elements were made of high-grade steel subjected to heat treatment. The hardening process increases abrasion resistance, extends the service life of the components, and allows many hours of operation while maintaining high extrusion quality.

The design of the working part makes it possible to obtain an extruded product in the form of short sticks with a uniform structure. Thanks to this, the finished feed is characterized by good digestibility and high quality, which translates into animal feeding efficiency.
