The EGK-500 grain extruder from TechnoMaszBud is a revolutionary solution that significantly improves the feed production process. It

was created not only to improve the quality of feed, but also to increase the efficiency of livestock farming and milk production.

The extruder transforms the grain into light, frothy pieces in the form of sticks or flakes. This process removes anti-nutritional substances

contained in legumes, which were previously unavailable to animals. Importantly, this process takes place under the influence of high

temperatures, which disinfects the feed, eliminating harmful microorganisms, fungi and pathogenic bacteria, to which young animals and

chicks are particularly susceptible.

It is extremely important that under the influence of pressure and high temperatures, starch components are broken down into lighter and

more digestible carbohydrates and sugars. At the same time, vitamins and other nutrients remain intact, since the effect of temperature is

short-lived, lasting a fraction of a second. Thanks to this, the animal’s body does not spend a lot of energy on digesting food, focusing on

increasing body weight and producing milk. The digestibility of food by animals reaches an impressive level of 90%.

How it works?

The main part of the feed extruder consists of two chambers - the raw material is crushed in the loading chamber, and then thermally

treated under high pressure in the processing chamber, where the temperature is 160-180 degrees. Then the raw material is passed

through holes in the feed extruder, which causes a sharp drop in pressure and an explosion, causing the grains to foam and increase their

volume several times. Thanks to this, less feed is needed in the form of light air sticks than in the traditional form of grains or granules to

satisfy the animals.
