LDG-4000 line for straw pellet production

Initially, straw bales with a diameter of up to 150 cm, bales of different sizes, and loose agricultural raw materials are fed into the Alligator-18 shredder. This device grinds them into smaller pieces, preparing them for further processing – pelletizing.

The next step is the thorough mixing of the material in the WIR-2000 mixer, which ensures up to 95% uniformity of the mixture. The mixing time ranges from 5 to 10 minutes, making the process fast and efficient. The mixer features an opening lid for easy manual loading of the raw material, and an optional scale with an audio signal ensures precise control of the ingredient amounts.

After mixing, the material is fed into the Prime-400 Pro pelletizer. With a powerful motor (45 kW) and X-shaped rollers, this machine can produce pellets not only from straw but also from other raw materials. If the material is appropriately moist (12-14%) and ground (up to 6 mm), this pelletizer can produce up to 700 kg of pellets per hour.

After pelletizing, the granulate goes to the KC-300 calibrator-cooler, where it is sieved and pre-cooled. The calibrator is equipped with an interchangeable separation drum, which usually has 6 mm holes. Depending on production requirements, drums with hole diameters ranging from 2 to 12 mm can be ordered. The calibrator, combined with the SO-4 extraction system, effectively removes dust, excess heat, and moisture, improving the quality of the final product. Contaminants are sucked up and collected in filter bags, allowing for their reuse.

The production line ends with the PT-1000 conveyor, which transports the finished pellets to the packaging area. With a throughput of up to 800 kg/h and a belt speed of 7 m/min, the pellets are smoothly and safely transported to weighing packing machines or big bags. The final stage of the process is the loading of the pellets into a big bag suspended on a specially designed stand. The structure of the stand ensures stable support for the bag, making loading easier. The sturdy frame, adjustable to various bag sizes, guarantees safe pellet collection and minimizes the risk of damage.

The final product – straw pellets – is characterized by high calorific value and low moisture content, making it an excellent fuel for biomass boilers. It can also be used as animal bedding, ensuring cleanliness and comfort in breeding.
