GF grain aerators

A grain Aerator is a device used to aerate grain. This is a process that aims to improve the quality of the grain by increasing its "breathing" due to the introduction of air into it. The aeration process helps to increase the activity of enzymes, and this has a beneficial effect on the nutritional properties of cereals. Grain aeration is especially important for grain intended for storage, as it significantly prevents its spoilage - prevents the growth of mold, fungus and loss of grain quality.


Technomashbud GF grain aerators consist of two basic elements: a fan and an aeration chamber. The fan produces a stream of air that is directed into the aeration chamber. In the aeration chamber, the grain is exposed to air for a suitably selected time.

The aeration time depends on the type of grain and storage conditions.


Optimization of grain quality through aeration is a key process in agriculture and the grain mill industry. This process has numerous advantages that have a direct impact on durability

and the commercial value of the product.  It is designed to reduce the moisture content of the grain and ensure proper storage conditions. It must be remembered that the basic condition for good storage is the maximum grain moisture of approx. 14,5%. In the case of oats, this value may not exceed 12,5%.
