Operating principle

Pellet is fed from the tank to the burner through a screw feeder, where it is ignited on the grate. The blow-in fan supplies air in a controlled amount, enabling efficient combustion.
The heat generated in the burner is transferred to the boiler, where it heats the water circulating in the heating installation.
The entire process is supervised by an advanced controller from the PLUM company, which manages the air supply to the combustion chamber, the supply of pellets, and the water temperature.

Main advantages of the DOMNA ECO-35 pellet burner

Ceramic combustion chamber in all burner models – ensures complete and high-quality fuel combustion thanks to the formation of a thermal core. The heat is not transferred to the burner's chamber, thus not damaging it; instead, it remains inside the combustion chamber and acts as a specific catalyst for complete fuel afterburning. The flame from such a chamber is cleaner, and the amount of ash and slag from low-quality fuel is reduced.

Cast iron grates with lifetime warranty – they can confidently be called "eternal" – they do not burn out or deform at high temperatures, unlike stainless steel or regular grates. The cast iron grates perfectly retain the high temperature generated by the ceramic combustion chamber and work in tandem with it.

Cascade Cleaning System (CCS) – a cascade self-cleaning system for grates from ash, which distributes the fuel evenly over the entire burning surface. It allows operation on low-quality pellets and effectively removes ash and other combustion residues. Cascade cleaning has been recognized in the market and by most equipment manufacturers as the most effective and reliable. This very system is used in all Domna burner models.

Clever Air System (CAS) – an intelligent system for distributing primary and secondary air, as well as proportional mixing with the fuel, allows for maximum combustion efficiency (98%) and stability of operation. The system enables the combustion of pyrolysis (pellet) gases generated during pellet combustion, which helps reduce fuel consumption and minimize harmful emissions into the atmosphere.

Ceramic FKK igniter (Japan) – the best igniters available on the market. They work quickly, are highly reliable, and have a long service life – over 10,000 ignitions.

ESC (Easy Service Cleaning) – a system for easy access to the combustion chamber and burner grate block for service inspection and cleaning if needed. No special tools are required. The system allows you to clean the burner's chamber without opening the boiler doors, which is very convenient and saves time and effort.

Fuzzy Logic – an intelligent automatic burner power modulation system.

Modern control system – possibility to manage the heating system and domestic hot water via the internet or a mobile phone app, smart weather-based control – all easily available with Domna burners.

DSS (Domna Safety System) – a multi-level burner safety system, making its operation pleasant and safe. It meets all fire protection standards for solid fuel combustion.

Low emission – thanks to the ceramic combustion chamber, cast iron grates and CAS system, Domna burners emit significantly less harmful exhaust gases (CO, NOX, OGC) and dust to the atmosphere compared to combustion in solid fuel boilers or burners lacking these features.

The quietest pellet feeder – the pellet feed screw is made of high-quality plastic, making the transportation process virtually silent. Additionally, it has a reduced friction coefficient, so the pellet is not ground into dust and reaches the combustion chamber intact. This helps solve the problem of excessive dusting during combustion.
