Screw Oil Press WT-85
- Product Code: WT-85
Description
The screw press for oil extraction WT-85 by TechnoMaszBud is designed for oil production using the cold pressing method. The pressing process with this press is the most natural way to extract oil from seeds. This process is purely mechanical, occurring at low temperatures without the use of any substances to facilitate oil extraction. This device allows achieving an efficiency of about 30 liters per hour. The raw materials can include: rapeseed, milk thistle seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, and many other oilseed crops. In the case of other seeds, testing is necessary, which we can perform for free in our showroom! The most important advantage of cold-pressed oils is the content of unsaturated fatty acids, including polyunsaturated fatty acids. The content of Omega-6 and Omega-3 acids in these oils is significant. These acids must be supplied through food, as the body cannot produce them on its own.
Oil production process:
- Seeds are poured into the feed hopper.
- The control valve regulates the flow of seeds to the feeding screw.
- The screw crushes the seeds and pushes them into the pressing chamber.
- As the screw rotates in the pressing chamber, it compresses the seeds and generates high pressure. This pressure causes the oil to be pressed out of the seeds, which then drains into the outlet.
- The degree of oil extraction is regulated using an adjustment nut.
- The cake (by-product) exits through an opening in the nut.

Advantages of cold-pressed sunflower oil:
- Cold-pressed oil retains not only flavor but also its health properties. It is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 acids. Cold-pressed oils have a very high content of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids.
- It contains vitamins, fatty acids, phosphorus-containing substances, and other bioactive components.
- It has a pleasant aroma and taste.
- It has a long shelf life. Unlike hot-pressed oils, the finished oil does not become cloudy after a long time and does not acquire a rancid flavor of spoilage.
- During cold pressing, a useful by-product remains, which can be further processed and used as feed for livestock, birds, and fish.
