Description
WT-85 Screw Oil Press by TechnoMaszBud is designed for producing oil using the cold-pressing method. The pressing process with this machine is the most natural way of extracting oil from seeds. It is a purely mechanical process, carried out at low temperature, without the use of agents that facilitate oil extraction. The device allows for an output of around 30 liters per hour.
The raw materials can be rapeseed, milk thistle, flax, sunflower seeds and other oil-bearing plants. For other seeds, we offer free tests in our showroom. The main advantage of cold-pressed oils is their content of unsaturated fatty acids, including polyunsaturated Omega-6 and Omega-3 acids, which must be supplied through the diet because the body does not produce them itself.
It is possible to test this machine with your own raw material at our warehouse!
Oil Production Process
- seeds are poured into the feeding hopper.
- the control valve regulates the flow of seeds to the feeding screw.
- the screw crushes the seeds and moves them into the pressing chamber.
- the screw, rotating in the pressing chamber, compresses the seeds, generating high pressure which squeezes out the oil, which then flows to the outlet.
- the degree of oil extraction is adjusted using the adjustment nut.
- oil cake (by-product) exits through the opening in the nut.
Advantages of Cold-Pressed Sunflower Oil
- cold-pressed oil retains its flavor and health-promoting properties, is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 acids, and contains plenty of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids.
- contains vitamins, fatty acids, phosphorus-containing substances and other bioactive components.
- has a pleasant smell and taste.
- has a long shelf life – unlike hot-pressed oil, the finished oil does not become cloudy or develop a rancid taste.
- cold-pressing produces a useful by-product which, after additional processing, can be used as meal for farm animals, poultry, and fish.
