Screw press GS-1000 | 18.5 kW
- Product Code: GS-1000
Description
Our company manufactures screw presses of various power and capacity. Depending on the type of raw material and the size and power of the machine, throughput can reach 1 ton of finished product per hour.
The screw press is the main component of fuel briquette production lines and is therefore currently in high demand across various industries and the agricultural sector—especially when this equipment meets international quality standards. It should be noted that with presses of this type, almost all fine and loose materials can be briquetted if binding additives are used to prepare the raw material mix; after the resulting briquette dries and cools, these determine its quality, strength, and resistance to external influences.
However, there is a fairly long list of materials and substances that are briquetted in the GS-1000 screw press without any additives. Such materials contain substances that are released from the material itself and become plastic under strong compression and high temperature. They act as a natural adhesive, bonding raw material particles during briquette formation. Strong compression and high temperature are achieved by the action of the screw as it feeds the raw material into the conical chamber, where compaction occurs, followed by extrusion of the briquetted mass through the forming die.
For such materials, the key requirement for obtaining high-quality briquette products is fine particle size, which may be a natural property of the raw material or achieved through grinding and crushing with suitable equipment. It is enough to thoroughly mix such fine raw material with water until a homogeneous plastic mass is obtained, and the briquetting mixture is ready. Using GS presses without binding additives, the manufacturer obtains high-quality briquette products from materials such as fossil coals of grades B, D, G, and K, peat, hydrolyzed lignin, sapropel, animal manure, poultry droppings, chalk, and lime.
Dies for the GS-1000 Screw Press are interchangeable:
- round, with 5 holes of 28 mm
- square opening 52×52 mm
The GS-1000 screw press can press the following materials without using binding additives:
- coal dust
- coal slurry
- peat
- lignin
- lime
- chalk
- poultry droppings
- animal manure
With binding additives, the press briquettes any loose materials, such as charcoal dust, carbon black, ferromanganese, ore fines, etc.
