Extruder EKG-150 for Soy

EGK-150 soy extruder is an industrial machine designed for processing cereals and seeds, particularly soybeans. It uses a high‑temperature extrusion process.

The EGK-150 extruder has been specially adapted for processing soy, but it can also be used to process, among others, corn, wheat, barley, and mixed feeds with wheat bran (up to 20%), and even straw and hay.

The upgraded working unit of the EGK‑150 soy extruder consists of two chambers: a loading chamber for crushing the raw material and a pressing chamber, where the material heated to 120–180 °C is subjected to high pressure. After extrusion, a rapid expansion occurs due to a sudden drop in pressure.

Two dies enable the production of different types of products in the form of sticks or flakes. As a result, the machine produces feed suitable for large and medium-sized animals as well as for poultry and fish.

An additional shredder can be connected to the feed extruder to process the finished foamed mass.
