Feed extruder EGK-350 for soy

EGK-350 for Soy is an efficient and specialized feed extruder, designed primarily for processing raw soybeans, as well as for handling other grains. Thanks to the use of hot extrusion technology, the machine effectively deactivates anti-nutritional factors present in soy, which significantly increases the nutritional value of the resulting feed.

Compared to the basic version of the EGK-350, this model has been optimized for processing high-protein raw materials and demonstrates even greater efficiency in the production of feed for both farm and domestic animals.

The working part of the feed extruder consists of two chambers—a loading chamber for grinding the raw material and a pressing chamber where thermal processing occurs at a temperature of 120–180°C under high pressure. Next, as the raw material passes through the extruder’s holes, it "explodes," experiencing a hydro-shock due to a sudden drop in pressure. As a result, the grain foams and its volume increases several times. This means that animals need less feed in the form of aerated pellets than in ordinary or pelleted form to feel full.

Thanks to the action of high temperature, the feed extruder sterilizes the feed, eliminating pathogenic microflora, fungi, and harmful bacteria, to which young animals are particularly sensitive.

Moreover, under the influence of pressure and high temperature, hard-to-digest starch breaks down into lighter, simple carbohydrates and sugars. Vitamins and all nutrients are preserved, as the exposure to high temperature lasts only a split second. Thanks to this, animals do not lose energy on digesting food but instead direct it to body weight gain and increased milk yield.

The EKG-350 is equipped with two nozzles: one for producing stick-shaped tubes and one for flakes with a diameter of up to 4 cm. These nozzles allow for the production of extruded feed for various species of farm animals and poultry.
