Frame-plate filter FPR-16 for the purification of vegetable oils is a professional device designed to remove mechanical impurities and improve the quality of vegetable oils at the purification stage. The filter effectively retains fine sediments, particles of plant tissues, waxy substances and other suspensions, thanks to which the obtained product is characterized by higher purity and better performance properties.

Model FPR-16 has been equipped with 16 filter plates made of polypropylene intended for contact with food. The design uses filter cloth of the "belting" type, which ensures effective filtration of various types of vegetable oils while maintaining ease of operation and easy cleaning of the device.

Design and principle of operation

The filtration process consists in the flow of oil through porous filter cloth mounted between the plates and frames of the filter. During the flow, all mechanical impurities are retained on the surface of the filter material, while the purified oil is discharged to the receiving tank.

The plates are equipped with special channels enabling even flow of the medium through the entire filtration system. The whole assembly is tightened with a manual screw clamp, which ensures tightness during operation. The structure has been mounted on a stable support frame, on which the pump unit is also located.

The device has been equipped with a NOVAX 25 Oil pump, intended for the transport of vegetable oils. The filter can work with food-grade barrels with a capacity from 1000 liters, and at the customer's request it can be adapted to tanks of other capacities.
