Description

Grain Drying Heat Generator GC-2000 is an efficient unit designed to produce clean hot air used in grain dryers, biomass dryers, production halls, warehouses, and greenhouses. Thanks to the use of an air heat exchanger, the heated air does not come into contact with flue gases, which guarantees safe drying of grain and other materials requiring a controlled temperature.

The generator operates on solid fuels and was designed for high energy efficiency and low operating costs. The design makes it possible to use the thermal energy generated during the combustion of wood, wood chips, briquettes, straw, and other organic waste.

Design and operating principle

The GC-2000 heat generator consists of a combustion chamber lined with refractory materials, an air heat exchanger, an air recirculation system, a supply fan, and a WP-2 draft fan, which ensures a stable combustion process and enables regulation of the intensity of air supply to the firebox.

The transport of hot air is handled by an efficient centrifugal fan with a motor power of 7.5 kW, ensuring even air flow to the dryer or technological installation.

A special intake hood makes it possible to draw in previously heated air, which limits energy losses, increases the efficiency of the entire system, and reduces fuel consumption.

Control dampers are used in the air ducts, which make it possible not only to control the temperature by mixing in cool air, but also to switch the unit between heating and cooling mode. This function is particularly useful during the final cooling of grain after the drying process is completed.

Universal fuel

One of the greatest advantages of the GC-2000 heat generator is the ability to burn many types of solid fuel. The unit can operate using:

  • firewood
  • wood chips
  • fuel briquettes
  • straw bales
  • organic waste and biomass

The enlarged loading door allows convenient feeding of even large straw bales without the need for prior shredding.

The design of the unit also allows the installation of a burner with an output of 1-2 MW, thanks to which the generator can in the future be adapted to burn gas or pellets without making major design modifications.
