Grain Extruder EGK-200 for soy

EGK-200 is a reliable feed extruder designed for processing soybean and grain seeds. The device was designed with farms and small feed production facilities in mind, where efficiency, durability, and low running costs matter.

EGK-200 extruder efficiently processes raw soybeans, which enables the removal of anti-nutritional substances and improves feed digestibility. The processed raw material can be used as a feed component for cattle, pigs, poultry, goats, or fish.

This modern feed production device combines the functions of grinding, heating, and shaping, which significantly improves the quality of the finished product—from soybean to corn, wheat, and barley alike.

The working part of the feed extruder consists of two chambers—raw material is ground in the loading chamber, and in the pressing chamber it is treated thermally at 120–180°C under high pressure. Then, passing through the extruder holes, the raw material "explodes," experiencing a hydro-impact effect due to the sudden pressure drop. As a result, the grain foams up and increases its volume several times. Consequently, animals need less feed in the form of aerated sticks than in ordinary or granulated form in order to feel full.

Thanks to the action of high temperature, the feed extruder disinfects the feed, eliminating pathogenic microflora, fungi, and harmful bacteria, to which young animals are especially sensitive.

In addition, under the influence of pressure and high temperature, hard-to-digest starches break down into lighter, simple carbohydrates and sugars. Vitamins and all nutrients are preserved, as the temperature only acts for a fraction of a second. Thanks to this, animals do not waste energy digesting their food, but instead use it for weight gain and increased milk production.

The EKG-200 is equipped with two nozzles: for making sticks in tube form, and for producing flakes up to 4 cm in diameter. Thanks to the use of these nozzles, you can produce extruded feed for different species of farm animals and poultry.
