The PRIME-300 pellet mill/pelletizer with power take-off (PTO) drive is a proven, powerful machine designed to produce pelleted animal feed and fuel pellets from biomass. Its drive lets you work via PTO without access to the electrical grid.

The PRIME-300 PTO pellet production unit features two 148 mm moving rollers that ensure high efficiency when pelleting various raw materials. The design provides reliability, strong power under load, and easy operation and maintenance.

The PRIME-300 PTO biomass pellet mill with a 300 mm die enables efficient processing of many types of biomass: hardwood sawdust, softwood sawdust, straw, hay, herbs, sunflower husks, grain waste, as well as various feed mixes and selected plastics (including PVC, PP). Thanks to the moving rollers, it can also pellet more demanding, hard materials, making the PRIME-300 PTO a universal and extremely robust machine for producing pellets and feeds.

This is a great stand-alone model and also a component of the LDG-3000 KOMBI, LDG-3000 MAX lines.

For pellet production, pine sawdust is mostly used due to its high content of a special binding substance—lignin—which significantly facilitates pelleting. Hardwood species practically lack lignin, but the PRIME-300 pellet mill generates high pressure that also allows pelleting hardwood sawdust.

The PRIME-300 PTO pellet mill can pellet the following raw materials:

- softwood (conifer) sawdust;

- hardwood (deciduous) sawdust;

- sunflower husks, straw, hay, grass;

- feed mixes;

- plastics (polypropylene, bags, film);

* Output depends on many factors, namely: raw material parameters (moisture, composition, density, contamination), equipment wear, correct adjustment, consistency of material feed, and the operator’s skills.

Another advantage of the PRIME-300 pellet mill is the ability to pellet animal feed, fuel pellets from hay, straw and grain waste. You only need several additional dies specially matched for feed, for softwood pellets and for hardwood pellets.

We also offer a PS-200 screw feeder for smooth material feeding. Hopper capacity is over 0.2 m3. Feeding speed is controlled by a frequency inverter.

The PRIME-300 PTO pellet mill is a robustly engineered technological solution for farmers, livestock producers, sawmills/woodworking shops and medium and small businesses in the biofuels sector. The high output and strong drive of the PRIME-300 pellet-making machine make it suitable for professional biomass pellet production and for pressing pelleted feed. At the same time, the unique PTO drive allows operation in the field without access to electricity, making the machine highly mobile.

The PTO drives the rollers via a gearbox and shaft. Rollers pressed against the die force the material into the die holes. The pellet mill is equipped with a double-sided die made of high-alloy hardened steel with holes from 2 to 8 mm to choose from.
