PRIME-400 PRO Pelletizer / Granulator is a professional machine for producing pellets and compound feed. This model is an evolution of the reliable PRIME series of biomass pellet/granule production machines. Equipped with a 45 kW motor and four Ø 178 mm rollers, the PRIME-400 PRO pellet production machine delivers higher throughput and the ability to work with more demanding materials.

The key differences between the PRIME-400 and the PRIME-400 PRO are the more powerful 45 kW motor, 4 rollers with a diameter of 178 mm (PRIME-400 – 2 rollers of 210 mm) and the use of a frequency inverter, which has a positive effect on this model’s performance. A 1500 rpm motor drives the rollers via a gearbox and shaft. The rollers, pressed against the die, force the raw material into the die holes. The granulator is equipped with a double-sided die made of high-alloy hardened steel with selectable hole sizes from 2 to 8 mm.

PRIME-400 PRO pellet press enables efficient production of compound feed pellets and fuel pellets, using grain blends, grass mixes, straw, hay, coniferous and deciduous wood sawdust, sunflower husk and carpentry waste. It also processes feed mixes, meal, herbs and selected plastics (PP, bags, film).

The PRIME‑400 PRO granulator is supplied with a Ø 400 mm die with selectable holes from 2 to 8 mm and adjustable cutters enabling production of pellets 2 to 60 mm long.

The machine can operate standalone or as a module in the LDG‑4000 KOMBI PRO, LDG‑4000 MAX and LDG‑4000 DUO PRO lines.

Thanks to its high power and robust rollers, continuous operation up to 16 hours is possible.
