Jaw crusher BIZON-450 with a 15 HP diesel engine and 1:2 gearbox is the most powerful model in the BIZON series, designed for crushing large elements of non-reinforced concrete, construction rubble, bricks, ceramic materials, stone, coal and coke. Thanks to the large feed opening and the high torque of the diesel engine, the machine handles larger-sized materials very well, ensuring high operating efficiency.

The model equipped with a 15 HP diesel engine and a gearbox with a 1:2 ratio was developed for intensive use in the field. This solution is ideal for construction companies, recycling plants and businesses carrying out demolition works, where full mobility and independence from electric power supply are required.

Compared to the smaller models in the BIZON series, the BIZON-450 crusher allows feeding material with dimensions up to 450 × 200 mm, thus reducing the need for preliminary size reduction of large elements before starting the crushing process.

If it is necessary to obtain a very fine fraction below 50 mm, it is recommended to use two jaw crushers operating in one processing line. The BIZON-450 model performs the preliminary crushing of the material, while the second, smaller crusher makes it possible to obtain the final fraction.

Operating principle

The diesel engine drives the eccentric shaft responsible for the movement of the working jaw. The material enters between the movable and the fixed jaw, where it is crushed under the influence of high compressive force. The finished material leaves the working chamber after reaching the set fraction.

The key working elements – the jaws – are made, optionally, of EN-GJL-250 gray cast iron (standard, included in the set) or of Mn18Cr2 high-manganese steel. These materials are characterized by high resistance to abrasion and impacts. In the case of softer materials, such as brick or ceramics, the use of gray cast iron jaws is recommended. For crushing hard materials, such as fieldstone or granite, jaws made of high-manganese steel are recommended.
