LD-50 is a mobile, industrial log splitter designed for preparing firewood for domestic or industrial use. The LD-50 Wood Splitter enables fast, efficient, and—crucially—safe splitting of logs with a diameter of 500 mm and height of 420 mm.

The device uses a gear (inertia) system—splitting wood along the grain with kinetic energy.

The guide strikes the end of the log, causing it to crack when it meets the splitting wedge blade.

A single strike allows the log to be split into 2, 4, or more pieces—depending on the installed tip.

The LD-50 wood splitter is powered by a 6.5 HP gasoline engine.

The splitter is equipped with 13R car wheels and a tow hitch attachment, making it easy to move using a vehicle.
