Mold for ZW(SC) and ZO sealers

Mold for ZW(SC) and ZO sealers is a replaceable working element intended for making a durable, ribbed seal (the so-called Euro seal) during the sealing of film packaging. The mold works with heating elements (TEN) used in ZW(SC) and ZO series sealers, ensuring uniform pressure and high quality of the seal produced.

Why is the proper selection of the mold and heating element so important?

To obtain a uniform seal along the entire length, the heating element should have a length corresponding to the length of the mold or be longer than it. The use of a heating element that is too short causes insufficient heating of the ends of the mold, which may lead to an incomplete or non-durable seal.

For example, the use of a heating element with a length of 260 mm with a 300 mm mold will cause the ends of the mold to remain cool, and the package will not be properly closed. Therefore, it is recommended to use heating elements with a length equal to or greater than the length of the mold.
