Screw Dewatering Machine SL-230 was designed as a universal solution for efficient separation of the solid fraction from the liquid fraction in high-moisture organic materials. Thanks to the use of a low-speed screw and an adjustable pressing mechanism, the operator can precisely adjust the degree of dewatering to the type of processed material. The process is carried out entirely mechanically, without the need to use coagulants and chemical additives, which translates into lower operating costs and simpler operation of the machine.

Operating principle

Material with a moisture content from 85% to 95% is transported to the working chamber, where the rotating screw generates the appropriate pressure. The liquid fraction passes through the openings of the screen drum, while the solid material is moved toward the pressing mechanism, where it undergoes additional pressing. Adjustment of the back pressure makes it possible to obtain the optimal dewatering level while maintaining high machine capacity.

Application

Model SL-230 is perfectly suitable for dewatering slurry, brewer's spent grain, beet pulp, distillery stillage, and residues from the food industry. It is often chosen by medium-sized farms, biogas plants, and companies processing organic waste, where high capacity at moderate operating costs is important.
