Screw Oil Press WT-50

The WT-50 oil expeller from TechnoMaszBud is a compact yet highly efficient screw press designed for cold-press oil production. All working parts of the device come into contact with the raw material exclusively through stainless steel, making this press completely safe for health. This is confirmed by PZH certification, which confirms there is no risk to the user or consumer.

The device achieves a capacity of up to 6 liters per hour.

Possible raw materials: rapeseed, milk thistle seeds, flaxseed, sunflower seeds in husk, and many other oil-bearing plants. In the case of other seeds, tests may be required – which we perform free of charge in our showroom!

Oil Production Process

• The raw material is placed in the feed hopper.
• The seeds move through the flap into the working screw.
• The screw crushes the grains and moves them to the pressing chamber.
• The chamber consists of a perforated cylinder, pressure-generating screw, pressing cone, and adjustment nut.
• The oil is squeezed out through the holes in the cylinder and flows out to the drain.
• The oilcake (production residue) is discharged through the gap in the adjustment nut.

Applications of WT-50 Press with PZH in Industry and Processing

The WT-50 cold-press oil station is suitable for use in places where fresh vegetable oil is produced in small or medium quantities. Thanks to the PZH certificate, it can be successfully sold. It works perfectly in food businesses as well as on farms and agritourism establishments.

The set includes a frequency inverter for a 1.5 kW motor, which has several practical advantages:

• Softstart (gentle start-up):
• The motor draws a very high starting current during start-up (even 6–8 times higher than nominal).
• The inverter limits this current, protecting the electrical installation, fuses, and the motor itself from overload.
• Reduces the risk of sudden mechanical shocks in gearboxes and couplings.
• Speed control:
• Possibility to adjust the rotation speed to the type of raw material
• Work optimization — you can find the rpm at which the press has the best performance and lowest energy consumption.
• Easier start-up with heavy loads — start at low rpm, then gradually increase.
