Shredder / Straw Chopper RD-500

RD-500 Shredder is a device designed for efficient shredding of a wide range of plant materials such as hay, straw, sawdust, wood chips, reed, or waste paper.

Straw shredder enables you to obtain biomass with a particle size of 6 mm up to 300 kg/h or 20 mm up to 500 kg/h (it is possible to achieve a size from 3 to 20 mm). The shredded material is suitable for granulation. The processed material can be used as, among others, valuable feed and bedding for animals as well as a base for the production of mycelium, fuel briquettes, and pellets.

The equipment is equipped with a special rotor weighing 35 kg, which allows high device performance with minimal electricity costs.

The set includes a 6 mm mesh screen or another size chosen by the customer.

Applications of the RD-500 shredder

RD-500 Shredder is ideal wherever there is a need for continuous production of bedding and feed from plant waste. It is a reliable solution for livestock farms and companies involved in production of pellets, briquettes, mushroom substrate, and feed.

During operation, please note that the device is not suitable for shredding straw with high moisture content (over 25%).
