Operating principle:

The oil cake is fed into the feed hopper, from where it drops onto the shredder knives. The shaft-mounted knives press the cake against the counter-knife plates, crushing and pushing it between them. The shredded material passes through a screen, onto which it is moved by the rotating knives.
Small oil cake fragments fall through the screen holes, while larger pieces are pressed and shredded again between the counter-knives. As a result, the device yields a product in the form of small pieces, which accelerates cooling and facilitates further processing.
