KOZAK-S Aeration and Ventilation Columns for Grain – Effective Crop Quality Protection
Grain storage involves high costs, which is why minimizing losses and maintaining stable quality parameters of the raw material is crucial. KOZAK-S aeration and ventilation columns have been designed for efficient active ventilation, cooling, and conditioning of bulk grain.
The system ensures intensive airflow, which limits the development of insects, mold, and fungi, eliminates self-heating hotspots, and significantly reduces the risk of spoilage. Using KOZAK-S aerators makes it easier to meet current storage standards and improves storage safety.
Thanks to an optimized design, the vertical aeration columns achieve up to 20% higher cooling efficiency compared to typical solutions. They enable rapid reduction of grain temperature immediately after harvest, after drying, and in batches particularly susceptible to microorganism development.

KOZAK-S columns are made of galvanized steel with 3 mm holes and also allow for natural drying and air conditioning of cereals, legumes, and other bulk materials. For fine raw materials with a diameter below 3 mm, filter bags are used, which retain fine fractions without restricting airflow.
The system features simple installation and flexible use in warehouses, bunkers, and silos. The radial fans mounted at the top of the columns can be easily moved between aeration points, increasing the functionality of the whole installation.
The use of KOZAK-S aerators can reduce energy consumption by up to 40%, lower investment costs per ton of grain, and significantly increase the profitability of long-term crop storage.
