The RD-250 Leaf Shredder is a versatile device designed for preparing feed and bedding for grazing animals such as horses, alpacas, goats, or sheep. It is particularly useful for older animals or those suffering from conditions such as OTRH, dental diseases, EOTRH, or periodontal diseases that make it difficult to consume traditional feed. With the RD-250 Leaf, you can prepare chopped hay and straw, which helps feed older horses and animals with periodontal diseases. Moreover, the RD-250 Leaf is also useful in homes with gardens and on allotments, where users utilize it to shred leaves, grass, or straw for compost, facilitating the maintenance and care of the area.

The raw material is shredded by rotating knives and fixed counter blades. These components are widely used in agricultural machinery, ensuring precise shredding and easy availability of spare parts. The knives can be sharpened, further reducing operating costs and extending their lifespan. Raw materials such as hay, straw, or leaves are fed through an opening at the top of the device. The rotating knives, spinning at 3000 rpm, cut the material into smaller pieces. The set includes a sieve with a 6 mm diameter. Other sizes can be ordered after consultation with an advisor. This solution allows for precise adjustment of fraction size, making the device suitable for preparing feed as well as chopping straw and hay for bedding.

The shredded material is collected in bags, which can be easily attached with clamps. The RD-250 Leaf is available in two power versions – for 230 V and 400 V – allowing the device to be adapted to the working conditions. Its efficiency is up to 150 kg/h, making it ideal for both preparing animal feed and for cleaning work in allotments or gardens.

The shredder weighs 45 kg and has compact dimensions: length 50 cm, width 40 cm, height 130 cm. It is equipped with an industrial motor with a power of 4 kW, ensuring smooth and reliable operation over a long period.
