Redler - chain conveyor

Redler, that is, a chain (scraper) conveyor, is a type of conveyor designed for the continuous transfer of various types of biomass, such as hay or straw. Its design enables efficient feeding of biomass both in loose form and in bales with a diameter of up to 1.45 m, as well as square bales of similar dimensions. The chain conveyor is widely used in processing lines, particularly at the stage of preparing the raw material for further processing, e.g., shredding, pelletizing, or briquetting.

This scraper conveyor has been designed to work with Alligator series biomass shredders, which are a key element in the process of preparing raw material for further processing. Thanks to its versatility, the conveyor can also be effectively used in combination with other machines employed in pellet production lines, e.g., the LDG series, and in briquette production lines, e.g., the LDB series. This enables flexible and versatile use of the device in various technological configurations, increasing its value in production processes.

The scraper conveyor operates by moving material with scrapers attached to two chains. The transverse elements continuously push the raw material, ensuring its steady flow to the designated location. The device’s design allows adjustment of the spacing between the scrapers, which is 85 cm as standard. Depending on the customer’s specific needs, this spacing can be changed to optimally match the conveyor to the type of biomass being transported.

The chains to which the scrapers are attached move inside a specially designed trough, ensuring precise conveying and minimizing the risk of failure. The entire mechanism is driven by a 1.1 kW electric motor, which guarantees smooth operation even under heavy loads.

The conveyor has been designed with maximum practicality in mind. The loading point is at a height of 0.95 m, which facilitates the loading process. Discharge takes place at a height of 2.1 m, which suits further processing of the raw material, especially in combination with the Alligator shredder. This layout allows efficient use of the workspace and minimizes the need for additional material handling.
