The KOZAK Grain Aerator by Technomaszbud. A grain aerator is a device used for aerating cereal grains. This process aims to improve the quality of the grain by increasing its “respiration” through the introduction of air. Aeration stimulates enzymatic activity, which positively affects the nutritional properties of the grain. Aerating the grain is particularly important when the grain is intended for storage, as it significantly prevents spoilage by inhibiting the growth of mold and fungi and by preserving grain quality.
The KOZAK grain aerators manufactured by Technomaszbud consist of two main components: a fan and an aeration chamber. The fan generates an airstream, which is directed into the aeration chamber. In the chamber, the grain is exposed to air for an appropriately selected period.
The aeration time depends on the type of grain and the storage conditions.
Optimizing grain quality through aeration is a key process in agriculture and the grain-milling industry.
