PRIME-300 PRO Pellet Mill / Granulator is a specialized industrial machine designed for producing pellets and granulate from a wide range of organic and synthetic raw materials. It achieves throughput of up to 700 kg/h, making it an indispensable tool for mass production of pellets and feed. The key differences between the PRIME-300 and PRIME-300 PRO are a more powerful motor, an improved roller design (178 mm diameter), and the use of a VFD, all of which have a positive effect on this model’s performance.

A 1500 rpm motor drives the rollers via a gearbox and shaft. Rollers pressed against the die force the material through the die holes. The granulator is equipped with a double‑sided die made of high‑alloy hardened steel with hole sizes from 2 to 8 mm to choose from.

PRIME-300 PRO pellet production machine is a key component of the LDG-3000 KOMBI PRO, LDG-3000 MAX and LDG-3000 DUO PRO lines, and handles pelleting sawdust, hay, straw, herbs and feed with ease.

PRIME-300 PRO is not only an efficient pellet machine but also an advanced set with a VFD that optimizes motor operation, protects it from overloads, and monitors current draw. Speed control allows you to precisely tailor operating parameters to production requirements and conditions.

The granulator processes softwood and hardwood sawdust, sunflower husk, straw, hay, grasses, compound feeds, and plastics (polypropylene, bags, films). Thanks to high pressure, it also handles raw materials with low lignin content. The machine is excellent for producing pellets and feeds for rabbits, chickens, broilers, pigs, cows, and quails.

The set includes a SoftStart VFD.

Applications of the PRIME-300 PRO pellet mill

The PRIME-300 PRO pellet machine is used in fuel and feed pellet production plants, farms, poultry houses and processing facilities—wherever efficient pellet production from diverse raw materials is needed.

The pellet mill is ideal both for the production of fuel pellets and animal feeds (rabbits, poultry, pigs, cattle, quails), as well as for granulating unconventional raw materials (plastics).

The set includes a 30 kW VFD for the motor, which has several practical benefits:

• Soft start:
• At start‑up, a motor draws a very high inrush current (even 6–8 times the nominal current).
• The VFD limits this current, protecting the electrical installation, fuses, and the motor itself from overload.
• It reduces the risk of sudden mechanical shocks to gearboxes and couplings.
• Speed control:
• Ability to match rotational speed to the type of raw material.
• Process optimization — you can find the rpm at which the pellet mill has the highest output and lowest energy consumption.
• Easier starting under heavy load — start at low speed, then increase gradually.
