Nut crackers – crunchy convenience

Nut crackers – crunchy convenience

The holiday season is approaching, and with it comes a true nut craze on Polish tables.

Poppy seed cakes, kutia, pastries, gingerbread and many other sweet treats would not be the same without the addition of a magical, crunchy ingredient – nuts.

However, before hazelnuts or walnuts reach the plate, they must first be freed from their hard shells. Whether we prepare nuts for sale or for home use, shelling them can be a tedious and unpopular task. Manual cracking is one of the most time-consuming and monotonous kitchen activities.

Fortunately, as is often the case with us… technology comes to the rescue

– more precisely – nut crackers.

These machines effectively relieve us of the tedious task of separating shells from nuts and make the whole process fast, convenient and much less troublesome, allowing the old-fashioned hand nutcracker to retire at last ;).

How does a nut sheller work?

Nut cracking machines use a simple yet highly effective crushing mechanism.

The nut passes between a rotating shaft and a fixed wall, where precise pressure cracks the shell while largely leaving the kernel intact. Thanks to this solution, the device allows for a high percentage of whole halves – up to 70–80%, which is especially important when selling so-called “butterflies” – whole walnut halves

Importantly, some smaller models, such as the GRK-50 available in our offer, do not require a built-in motor – the drive is provided by a standard drill or screwdriver. This makes it inexpensive, compact and suitable for home use as well. Other nut crackers are equipped with an electric motor.

The shellers are adjustable to accommodate different nut sizes. We also offer machines for cracking various types of nuts. One such model is the GRK-300 – a sheller for hazelnuts and walnuts.

Nut sheller – at home and in business

Nut shellers are versatile devices that perform excellently both in households and in companies involved in nut processing.

The compact dimensions of our nut crackers allow convenient use in the kitchen, pantry or workshop. Thanks to their low weight and mobility, they can be easily moved and operated anywhere – in the case of smaller models, simply connect a screwdriver. Slightly larger shellers, such as the GRK-200, can be plugged into a standard electrical outlet.

It is an ideal solution for those who want to start a business related to nut processing without large investment costs.

The device will be equally useful in small processing plants and farms – wherever efficiency and ease of operation matter.

Benefits of using nut shellers

The greatest advantage of nut shelling machines is the enormous saving of time and effort compared to manual cracking.

With a capacity of up to 50 kg per hour, the user can process very large quantities of raw material in a short time, which translates into higher profitability and smoother workflow.

Equally important – a high percentage of whole nut halves significantly increases the value of the final product, and simple operation means that even inexperienced users can handle the device.

The solid construction guarantees long service life, and the compact size makes storage easy. A nut sheller is an investment that quickly pays off – both in home use and in professional processing.

A sheller for everyone

Nut sheller is a device that will be useful to anyone who has a relatively large quantity of nuts – especially walnuts.

So whether you are a professional processor specializing in semi-finished product sales, a food producer using nuts as an ingredient, or perhaps a casual hobby gardener blessed with a fruitful walnut tree in the corner of your garden – in each of these cases, a good quality nut sheller will save you time and energy.

A tough nut to crack? – certainly not for you!

Interesting facts about grain – how wild grass changed the fate of the world

Interesting facts about grain – how wild grass changed the fate of the world

A few years ago, historian and essayist Yuval Noah Harari suggested in one of his books a vision of a reversed history of our species. According to his provocative thesis, it is grains that have been “cultivating humans” for thousands of years. This concept – admittedly somewhat designed to attract media attention – was supported by arguments that are difficult to refute. Harari claimed that Homo..
