Description
LDG-4000 Pellet Production Line (for Straw) dedicated to the production of straw pellets is a comprehensive set of devices that enables the transformation of straw bales up to 150 cm in diameter and other loose agricultural raw materials into versatile pellets – suitable for use as fuel, bedding, or feed. The entire process begins with the Alligator-18 shredder , which prepares the material for further processing, and ends with loading the pellets into big bags using the PT-1000 conveyor with a stable frame.

At the beginning, straw bales up to 150 cm in diameter, bales of various sizes, as well as loose agricultural raw materials are fed into the Alligator-18 shredder. This device grinds them into smaller pieces, preparing the material for further processing – pelletizing (granulation).
The next stage is thorough mixing of the material in the WIR-2000 mixer, which ensures up to 95% uniformity of the mixture. The mixing time is 5–10 minutes, making the process quick and efficient. The mixer has an opening lid for easy manual loading of raw material, and an optional scale with sound signal ensures precise control of ingredient quantities.
After mixing, the material goes to the Prime-400 Pro pelletizer. Thanks to a powerful motor (45 kW) and X-configuration rollers, the machine can produce pellets not only from straw but also from other raw materials. If the material has proper moisture (12–14%) and is shredded (up to 6 mm), the pelletizer can produce up to 700 kg of pellets per hour.
After pelletizing, the granules go to the KC-300 calibrator-cooler, where they are screened and pre-cooled. The calibrator is equipped with an interchangeable separation drum – by default with 6 mm diameter holes. Depending on production requirements, a drum with hole diameters from 2–12 mm can be ordered. The calibrator combined with the SO-4 extraction system effectively removes dust and excess heat and moisture, improving the quality of the final product. Contaminants are extracted and collected in filter bags, allowing them to be reused.
The production line is closed by the PT-1000 belt conveyor, transporting the finished pellets to the packaging area. With a capacity of up to 800 kg/h and a belt speed of 7 m/min, the pellets are smoothly and safely transported to bagging machines or big bags. The final stage of the process is loading the pellets into a big-bag suspended on a specially designed hanger. The hanger design ensures stable support for the bag, making loading easier. The sturdy frame, adapted to different bag sizes, guarantees safe collection of pellets and minimizes the risk of damage.
The end product – straw pellets – is characterized by high calorific value and low moisture content, making it an excellent fuel for biomass boilers. It can also be used as animal bedding, providing cleanliness and comfort in breeding.
